A Canoe Camping
I went camping with American people that belong to Chi Alpha from this Monday to Wednesday. Chi Alpha is the Christian group that have a meeting every Wednesday night at KSU, and I attend the meeting. The people who belong to Chi Alpha are very nice, so I have spent good time with them.
Anyway, as to the canoe camping, it was very fun. Since I was not familiar with canoeing, I canoed with Shawn because he seemed to be good at it. However, our boat flipped twice! Oh, my goodness! I did not even think of flipping before we started to canoe. The first flip was kind of an accident. On the other hand, the second one was Shawn's fault...I blame you!
Though our boat flipped, I had good time in the camp. Let me thank Chi Alpha people.

Mother's Day
Today is mother's day! Needless to say, Shawn congratulated his mom, Kelly, when he met her in church. In addition, his family reserved a great restaurant for celebrating mother's day while they did not tell her about it. They invited me for lunch (Actually, they always invite me for lunch after church. Thank you very much!), so I also went to the restaurant. When Kelly came inside the restaurant, she looked a little bit surprised and very happy. As to the restaurant, there were many delicious foods, so Shawn' s family and I really enjoyed them. Congulatulations, Kelly! Thank you for your kindness!
Also, I would like to say congltulations to my mom. Thank you for bringing me up until now. I have troubled you many times since I was born, but please forgive me! I appreciate your patience. I strongly hope that you will live long. To realize my wish, please take care of yourself! See you soon!

Mission Impossible 3
Today Brett and I went watch the new movie "Mission Impossible 3." When I took a look at the website of that movie by accident, I really got interested in it since there were many exciting scenes in the movie, such as awesome car crushing. Therefore, though I had not seen the previous ones before, I asked Brett to watch it.
Actually, the movie was really neat! I dig it! I often got excited by various action scenes. Personally, I do not like Tom Cruise. Since brett said so too, I agreed with it. However, I have to admit that he is one of great actors. Obviously, he has good talent about acting. You should watch and cannot miss that movie!
By the way, when I watch movie in a theater, I can practice listening to English in a harder way because the movies that play in a theater usually have no subtitles, so I have to listen carefully; otherwise, I will get lost about the movies' story. Sometimes I watch movie without subtitles at home to practice. I hope that it has made my listening skill better.

An Interesting Topic
When I looked over a newspaper yesterday, I found an interesting article, "NSA has massive datebase of Americans' phone calls." I thought that that was America. If the Japanese government do such a thing, we will strongly blame it and make it stop. In the United States, though Americans are opposing what thier government is doing now, I think that they will accept it in the end because of the fear of terrorists (I am just saying, so maybe I am wrong.). Needless to say, the United States is a very important country in the world in terms of both the economy and military affairs. Therefore, the US government cannnot help collecting various information in various ways to protect its own country. America is a huge nation...
As to yesterday's exam, it was okay (~_~)

A Final Exam
I have an exam tomorrow. It will start at 7:30am... it is too early for me, Kelly. Not to mention, Kelly is Shawn' mom and the professor about the class that I am taking. I have learned some good expressions from her English. That's cool.
Anyhow, I have to go to bed early tonight, so catch ya later!

A Final Exam Week
I had the final exam of my Linguistic Anthropology class. Since I had prepared enough for the exam, I think that I did well. I have another final exam on Friday, so I have to study for it. Don't I have few final exams? Exactly! The reason for it is, I am taking only 12 hours and ENGL 100 ( the expository writing class) does not have a final exam. In addition, I was taking a Yoga, bowling, and Boxing class that had no final exams. Anyways, let's cram together!

Shogi
Do you know "Shogi" ? I would say that it is like Japanese Chess.

Since I brought my portable Shogi board from Japan, I have played with my American friends a couple times. One of my friednds, Brett, played well, but I beat him! Not to mention, I am Japanese! I do know Shogi! However, John and Shawn beat me... Ooops. Though they had never played before, I lost...I should have won to prove that I was Japanese. Obviously, I am terrible at Shogi, for even my American friends who had not known the rule of Shogi beat me. I see that my friends are really smart. Anyhow, I should learn how to play Shogi!

The last Boxing class
I had the last boxing class today. Since the final exam of the class took place, I got the result of it today. I got A !!! It was very easy, so we students were supposed to get A on the final exam...Maybe. Anyway, I have had really fun since I started to take that class. I would like to box sometime.
Last Thursday I took the final exam of the bowling class. Unfortunately I messed up, so I felt that the result would be really bad. Beats me...
